Marbletown Arts Association’s mission is to unite the area’s unique collection of artists; provide and support artistic, cultural and educational programming in our diverse community; and to showcase the work of member artists.

The Marbletown Arts Association was formed in 2001.For its energetic community outreach and public events, MAA was honored by Ulster County Council for the Arts, and named as the best small arts organization in the County. We have had a long relationship with the Rondout Valley Central School District, and provided more than $8000 in scholarships to Rondout students who were pursuing the arts after graduation. While the MAA is justly proud of its past achievements, we remained focused on future events that will enrich the community.

“There is a great need now for MAA, and we have had an overwhelming response to our reactivation in 2019 because there are so many creative people and art lovers in our area,” said Bobbi Esmark, president of the MAA. “We plan to strengthen the clear connection between the arts, economic vitality, and the well-being of our community. We will support existing art venues, local merchants, farms, and restaurants, while revitalizing the art scene. It’s important to identify as a community in these times.”

It is a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
